2016 Scion tC Expert Review by KBB.com

2016 Scion tC review by Kelley Blue Book

KBB.com’s editorial team were recently given keys to our 2016 Scion tC, and had plenty of positive feedback for its readers, opening up the Expert Review by saying the tC delivers a “lively driving experience” in a good looking package that’s affordable for first time buyers, offering high end sound, lots of standard features and optional TRD performance upgrades. One extremely high note was our excellent repair and resale history, which resonates greatly amongst the tC market.
New for 2016, we’ve added a 7” touchscreen audio display screen, rear wiper, Smart Key with push-button start, silver accented interior door handles and an updated center console.
What did KBB.com think of the way a tC drives? They’ve called it sporty even if it may not be your traditional sports car, due largely in part to the 179hp motor and manual/automatic transmission options that are performance oriented, and is able to hold its own when compared to a Mini Cooper or VW Golf.
Some of KBB.com’s favorite features of the tC include the Bespoke audio system upgrade, which offers navigation, voice activation for the nav and Bluetooth, and the ability to access Yelp and TripAdvisor by using the Aha smartphone app. They also still like that we offer plenty of customizable accessories that can help tC owners separate themselves from the rest of the pack.
Inside, KBB.com says the tC is comfortable, modern and roomier than one would expect, and the 60/40 split rear seats offer great storage space. Outside, the car hasn’t changed since it went through a small redesign not too long ago, so you will still see LED accent lights and large front lower grille.
